Betty J Sage

Betty J. Sage , 95 of Sebring and formerly of Streetsboro,  passed away Sunday April 15, 2018 at the Crandall Medical Center in Sebring, Ohio.  She was born May 12, 1922 in Ravenna to the late  Albert and Freeda  (Pinney) Rickenbacher.  Mrs. Sage had retired from Kent State  University where she worked as a cashier in the Bursar's office and also attended the Ravenna First Christian Church.  Survivors include her children April E. Parks,  Carrie (Michael) Parker, Clifford (LuAnn) Sage, Todd (Debbie) Sage, 12 grandchildren , nine great grandchildren and one great great grandson.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard in June of 2007, her siblings Donald Rickenbacher, Robert Rickenbacher and  Twin sister Betsy Lingo.  Calling hours will be Friday April 20, 2018 from 10:00 AM until time of services at 11:00 AM at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel.  Pastor Elaine Weaver will be officiating the funeral service.  She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Grandview Memorial Park Ravenna, Ohio.  Condolences and memories of Betty may be shared with her family www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
