Our deepest sympathies to the Holm family. Pastor Holm was genuinely a very nice, and gentle man. We had the privilege of being married by Pastor Holm and also attending the pre-marriage counseling sessions with him before we were married in September 1979. We fondly remember his gentle nature and kind ways. He married us in the North Apollo Church of God 38 years ago. I remember how I was emotional during our wedding ceremony and Pastor Holm gave me his handkerchief he had in his suit pocket. I wiped my eyes and stuck it in my pocket...I have it yet today. A great day for Barb and I. We extend our condolences to Twila and the entire family.

God Bless - Randy and Barb Hancock

My sincerest sympathies go out to Twila, Carla, Leif, Paul and your entire family. Pastor Holm was one of the finest men that I have ever known. I remember how sad I was the day we all helped you move to Ravenna because we thought so much of your family. To this day, I still tell people how highly regarded Pastor Holm was in the North Apollo community and how he was such a good man. Blessings to all
of you.

We extend our sympathy to your family for the home-going of such a wonderful man. I had the blessing of ministering with Carl during my time in Ravenna. I also served with him on several committees and always enjoyed his Christian fellowship. He is a man whose legacy of faithfulness will continue blessing others for generations to come.

We are so sorry to hear of Pastor Holm's passing. He was such a kind man. We were one of the 345 marriages he performed. He tied that knot good and tight on June 25, 1988 and we have been blessed with 29 years of a wonderful happy marriage. Our deepest sympathy to Twila and his children.

Twila and Family,
We send our deepest sympathies to all of you.
Carl was one of the last of the kind of men who stand for the values we need so desperately today.
He loved deeply, cared deeply, and strongly inspired everyone who knew him.
He left a rich legacy for his family and anyone who wants to know what a true soldier of the faith looks like.
He will be sorely missed.

Linda and I were heartbroken to hear of Carl's passing. Even though we had not seen he and Twila, for some time now, we always considered them great friends and great mentors on our spiritual journey. When we traveled as,the singing group titled; One Spirit, they were one of our favorite churches to sing at. They had a profound affect on our personal lives and our ministry. We are praying for peace and comfort for the whole family, and we are asking for blessings on your lives as only He can provide. All our love.

I recall my parents (Rev. C. LeRoy and Shirley Apotosh) so looking forward to spending time with the Holms while both were pastoring in PA. There was laughter, good food, support and encouragement for those fellow-pastors. Then years later our paths crossed with Kim and Paul Holm and there was more laughter, good food, support and encouragement. Our heartfelt sympathy and prayers go to your entire family, trusting Him to be all you need in the days ahead.
