Charles E. Wahl 68 of Ravenna went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday May 24, 2017 at Akron General Hospital with his family by his side.  He was born December 14, 1948 in Dallas, Texas to  Jacob Wahl and Marian (Megrail ) Wahl.  Charles has lived in Ravenna since 1980 when he married his beloved wife Deborah (Justice) Wahl on March 28, 1980.  He has worked as an excavator for several companies and what he loved to do was spending time with his family especially at family meal time.  In addition to his mother of Sandwich, Massachusetts and his beloved wife , he is survived by his loving children Danielle DeMarco, Charles E. Wahl, Jr., his  loving grandchildren Juliana, Jospeh, Kyra and brother Brad Wahl.  He was preceded in death by his father Jacob Wahl and sister Diane Marie.    At his request, cremation has taken place and private family services will be held at a later date.  Condolences and memories of Charles, may be shared with his family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
