Delores June Peters 83 of Streetsboro passed away Wednesday May 3, 2017 at her son's house in West Salem, Ohio.  She was born in Kennedy, NY on June 4, 1933 to the late Harold and Florence  (Kinne) Anderson.  Mrs. Peters has lived in Streetsboro since 1958 and had worked for JC Penney in Jamestown, as a playground supervisor at Campus Elementary in Streetsboro and as a bookkeeper at the old Aurora Inn. In addition to her parents ,  she was preceded in death by her husband Donald in 1986 and her daughter Bonnie Battiest.   Survivors include her sons Bruce (Martha ) Peters of Warren, Ohio, David (Tina) Peters of West Salem, Ohio, her grandchildren Joshua Peters of West Salem, Amy (Matt) Brigham of Cabot, Arkansas, Travis Battiest of Washington, DC, Amber Peters of Lodi and her brother Duane (Lory) Anderson of Jamestown, NY.   Calling hours will be from  12 PM Saturday May 6, 2017 until time of funeral services at 2:00 PM at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes 9781 Page Rd. Streetsboro, Ohio 44241.  Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery Streetsboro, Ohio.
