Franklin Dotson Twyman, 81, of Streetsboro passed peacefully Monday, September 25, 2017. He was born January 10, 1936 in Elizabeth, WV to Henry and Lorraine (Post) Twyman. Franklin was an iron worker for over 20 years and a member of Local 17 for 60 years.  He was an MP in the US Army. An avid fisherman and hunter, he was deeply loved by his family and friends and his dog Smokey.  Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years Shelva (Boggs), children Gary Twyman, Vicki Twyman and Randy (Kathy) Twyman, grandchildren Mike, Amy, Chelsea, Kegan, Katie, Patrick, Mike and Megan, great grandchildren Malina and Brison; and brothers Andy and George Twyman. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Betty Conley and brother Charles Twyman. Calling hours will be from 4 PM until time of services at 7 PM Friday, September 29, 2017 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro, Ohio. Reverend Jeff Haynes will officiate. Burial will be in Clover Ridge Cemetery in Clover, WV at 2 PM on Saturday, September 30, 2017.
