Jeannette E. (Evans) Pahls 74 of Tiffin, Ohio passed away Saturday January 14, 2017 after a long fought battle with cancer. Born March 19, 1942 in Ravenna, OH to the late Frederick and Emma (Kump) Evans.
She was a volunteer for her girls in Girl Scouts, 4-H and JA, then later at a local retirement home. She was active for many years in the League of Women Voters, and Toastmasters. As a real estate broker, she ran her own business for many years. Painting was something that gave her joy over the years. She shared this love of art and painting with her departed step mother Dora Reed Evans. Jeannette loved board games, card games, and trips to Las Vegas and Florida with family. Most of all, the thing Jim will tell you, is that his beloved wife Jeannette was a wonderful mother. Survivors include her husband Jim Pahls of 56 yrs, her 3 daughters Diane (Bill) Lillibridge of Lewiston, Idaho, Annette Zanko (John-deceased) of Kirtland, Susan Pahls of Dayton, her 3 grandsons Colton Zanko, Aiden and Sean Lillibridge, her siblings David (Kay) Evans, Patricia Ruehr (Bill-deceased), Gary (Barb) Evans, and Douglas (Kathy) Evans. Calling hours will be Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 5-8 PM at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 AM Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Church Ravenna, Ohio with burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio.
