No matter what anybody says about grief and about time healing all wounds, the truth is, there are certain sorrows that never fade away until the heart stops beating, and the last breath is taken. I miss the future I was supposed to have with you.

Joe was a good and caring husband to Alice, father, grandfather, father-in-law, and friend. He was an avid reader, and loved his pet dogs and cats, He liked to fly model airplanes, and tinker with cars. He was close to his children and loved to be with his grandchildren. He was a history buff and could talk with authority about battleships and war planes. He was known throughout the Ravenna community. Friday night pizza nights will be different for his grandson, who called him "Pop". We will remember him fondly. He will be missed greatly.
