Patricia B. Criswell, 86 of Ravenna, Ohio passed away peacefully on Sunday January 7, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family.   She was born in New Castle, PA on July 17, 1931 to  the late Thomas J. and Margaret (Haney) Bevan.  Patricia was a 1949 graduate from Villa Maria High School in New Castle, PA. and had retired from RMH (UH Portage Medical Center) in 1993 where she was a member of the Robinson Tea.  She was an avid member of Immaculate Conception Church where she was very active with the Young at Heart Group and the Lady's Guild, enjoyed spending time with her family and  playing cards in "The Bridge Club" for over fifty years.   Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Thomas G. Criswell,  two sons, Thomas Criswell, James Criswell,  five daughters  Margaret (Kevin) Trinkle, Connie (Ron) Pahls, Janice (Tom) Flynn, Joyce (Joe) Rastetter, Liz Grotemeyer, brothers Thomas J. Bevan,  John (Barbara) Bevan, sister Mary Jo (Don) Hanna, 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers James, Daniel Bevan and sister in law Doris Bevan.  Calling  hours will be Thursday January 11, 2018 from 6-8 PM at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Friday January 12, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Church Ravenna, Ohio with Father William Kraynak Officiating.  Private family entombment will be in St. Mary Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio.  Condolences and memories of Pat may be shared with her family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
