Ralph Harold Peugh went to be with his Lord and beloved wife, Leona, on 17 Jan 2018. Ralph was born 25 Feb 1930 in Cleveland, Ohio to Orville H. & Grace E. (Doane) Peugh. He attended school in Cleveland and served in the Army during the Korean War. He married his only sweetheart, Leona N. Pitcher on 17 Apr 1951 in Cleveland. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 42 years, his sister Mabel V Orr, and brothers William R, Richard C. He was a resident of the Landings of Stow for the past two years, and prior he lived in Streetsboro where he was a good neighbor and friend for more than 60 years. A faithful member of the Ravenna Church of Christ, he was a song leader and teacher of the scriptures all of his adult life. He was a Deacon of the church and taught a Bible study at a Ravenna assisted living facility every Tuesday for many years. He retired from Ohio Bell after 41 years to care for Leona until her death in 1993. He is survived by his four children; David R. (Jeanne) (Eiseman) Peugh of Tallmadge, Diane C. (Gerald) Gaines of Swannanoa, NC, Darlene N. (Timothy) Mizak of Bloomfield, CO, and Dawn S. (Dean) Zickefoose of Rootstown. Grandchildren; Sharon (Tom) Hensley, David (Ashley) Peugh, Rachael (Ryan) Hughes, Tanya (Paul Gill) Spencer, Melanie (Andrew) DeVan, Megan (Peter) Griffith. He leaves also 16 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandsons, a third great-great grandchild on the way, other family members, close friends and associates. Family and friends may call at the Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Homes Streetsboro Chapel, 9781 Page Rd, Streetsboro, OH, Friday evening from 6 to 8p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m with Minister Terry Smith officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Crown Hill Cemetery, 8592 Darrow Rd, Twinsburg, OH.
