I didn't know Steven, nor do I know any of you. I do however know the grief of losing a child to addiction. Out son was 21 when he died of an alcohol addiction. ironically we don't drink. That's the first thing, do not look for fault within yourselves. You were good parents and Steven made some wrong choices, they do that at that age. Secondly, cling to each other for support. Our minister informed us the first night that 85% of couples who lose a child, lose their marriage. Lastly, remember you will get thought this. You will never get over it, but you will get though it with a strength you didn't know you possessed. It takes a long, long time and your faith will be tested, but the power is there. Steven was like a third son to me. He was always there to help my daughter, Jessica Rhinehart, with any problems and she was there for him as well. You will be dearly missed, rest in peace. Prayers for the family during this difficult time.

I will always remember Steven as of a goofy and fun loving kid who was always smiling like he was waiting to tell a good joke. I am so sorry for his family for this terrible loss. My prayers are with them.

This makes me so sad. I knew Steven since elementary school (my daughter Stephanie went to school with him) and we had him over several times. He was always such a nice boy with so much potential. I just feel so much sadness for his family. RIP...my thoughts and prayers are with him and his family...
