Thomas John Rybczynski

March 12, 1958 ~ August 26, 2016 (age 58) 58 Years Old

Thomas John Rybczynski

“Big Tom”

Tom Rybczynski was born to Daniel and Katherine (Urbanowicz) Rybczynski at St. Vincent Hospital.  Tom married Doreen (Andrei) on August 5, 1995 in Doreen’s parents’ back yard.  They have four beautiful children: J’Hanna, Justin, Kasza, and Karl.

Tom passed on August 26, 2016 at home after a courageous battle with cancer.  The Rybczynski family would like to thank everybody who emailed, texted, or especially stopped by to visit Tom.  Also surviving are his brothers, Tim (Georgia) and Terry (Karen).

Tom graduated from St. Hedwig Elementary School in 1972 and from Woodward High School in 1976.  He worked for Buckeye Pipeline for many years until he started his own business. Tom was a true outdoor enthusiast who loved all types of hunting and passed down his vast knowledge to his two sons Justin and Karl.   The Rybczynski family would like to thank all Hospice care workers who cared for Tom.

To Our Brother:

As the days have passed, we remember fondly the memories we all have shared: growing up on Mulberry; the family Christmases, Easters and Thanksgivings; the good times we all had at our cottage at Locust Point; when the beer tasted good and you said “Let’s just have one more.”; the parties and gatherings at your farm in Ravenna. Those memories will last forever in our hearts.  You have touched lives from your days at St. Hedwig, Woodward and your travels in the U.S.A.  Brother, we hope when they put your ashes in a place you want, they will blow to places you have been and to places you always have wanted to go.  Brother, as they put that final wreath upon your door, may you  rest in peace.

Our Brother, Our Friend.
