Wilda M. Knight 72 of Ravenna passed away peacefully on Sunday February 10, 2013 at Bonnie's Home Health Care in Rootstown. She was born April 30, 1940 in Bentleyville, PA to the late Brownlow and Freda Mae (King) Carden. Mrs. Knight has lived in Ravenna since 1958 and retired from G.E. in Ravenna in 2000 after 26 years of services. She wasa member of the Brady Lake Baptist Church and an avid Cleveland Indians fan, she enjoyed playing cards, fishing and spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her children David (Kawinn) Knight of Garrettsville, Willard (Mandy) Knight of Kent, Teresa (Jerry) Adkins of Rootstown, Denise (Chris) Pickens of Benbrook, TX, her grandchildren Jessica Knight, Meridth Dalton, Matthew Pickens, Emily Pickens, Austin Pickens, Christina Knight, Wendy Wolfe, Ariel Henderson, Andrew Knight, her great grandchildren Broc, Peighton, Hunter, Kristopher, Kylie and Elissa. She is also survived by her brother Harold Carden of Oklahoma, her sisters Dolores LaRocque of Ravenna, Beatrice Reed of Jacksonville, Florida, Dorothy Edwards of Rootstown, Sandy White of Brady Lake , sister in law June Lewis of Ravenna and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Denvil Knight, sister Vivian and brothers Raymond, Walter and Willard. Calling hours will be 6-8 PM Wednesday February 13, 2013 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park Ravenna, Ohio.
