Curtis E. Bailey, 74 of Streetsboro, passed away Saturday March 16, 2024 at University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio. He was born on June 4, 1949, in Clear Creek, West Virginia. Mr. Bailey has lived in Streetsboro since 1976 and being a self employed truck driver owning Bailey Trucking, he was very proud of his Kenworth Truck. He was a veteran of the US Army and enjoyed working on cars, going to flea markets, car shows, many trips to Summit Racing, going to swap meets and Hartville with his wife. Curtis was preceded in death by his mother Vonda L. Lewis and step-father Clarence Lewis. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Vickie E. (Maynor) Bailey whom he married December 23, 1974, his daughters Amanda (Dale) Benedict, Jennifer (Jamie Rice) Bailey, his grandchildren Morgan Rice, Tera (Dan) Hall, Vicki (Billy) Gump, Brittani (Aaron) Arbogast, six great grandchildren and siblings Jack (Anita) Lewis, Maxine (Lee) Bennett and Delores (Gary) Thompson, and a close cousin who is like a brother, Kenneth (Lynda) Barefield. Calling hours will be 10:00 Am until time of funeral services at 12 pm on Saturday March 23, 2024 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel.
