June Ann Woodrum, a cherished soul of Streetsboro, left us on April 4, 2024, at the age of 75. She was born on May 27, 1948, in Ravenna, a daughter to her late parents William and Ethel (Kimes) Jahn. June found joy in her work as a retail clerk at Marcs in Aurora, where she cultivated lifelong friendships. A talented knitter, June spent countless hours on the phone with her dear, late friend Dolly, sharing stories while knitting gifts. Her hand-knit treasures brought warmth to those lucky enough to receive them. June's famous baked beans were a star at every family gathering and card games with her will be forever missed by her loved ones.
On August 1, 1966, June married Ray E. Woodrum, with whom she shared a life full of love and devotion. Together, they raised a beautiful family: Curtis Woodrum, Jeffrey Woodrum, Lisa (Laddie) Farkas, Brian (Carrie) Woodrum, Jennifer Swain, and Danny (Melissa) Woodrum. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy, filling her life with laughter and love. June is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren (Jamie, P.J., Ashley, Cassie, Hayley, Corey, Matthew, Bradley, Elizabeth, Nick, and Cheyenne), great-grandchildren (Julia, Jasper, Adeline, and Ariya), and her sisters, Judi Kreiger and Janet Jahn.
Per June's wishes, cremation has taken place. Though she is no longer with us, June's spirit lives on in the hearts of those she loved and who loved her dearly. Her kindness, warmth, and the love she shared will remain a cherished memory for all who had the privilege to know her. Rest in peace, June. You will be deeply missed.
