Carolyn S. (Kimble) Smith

Carolyn S. Smith, 79 of Windham passed away Tuesday June 19, 2018 at her home with her family by her side.  She was born in Huddy, Kentucky to  John and Ella (Scott) Kimble.  Carolyn has lived in Windham since 1970 and had worked for 35 years for Carlon Products in Aurora.  In her younger years she had worked as a radio announcer for WBTH Radio Station and also the Williamson Supply Company in Williamson, WVA.  She was preceded in death by her father John Kimble, her son Jeffrey Smith and Donald H. Smith.  She leaves to cherish her memory are her children, Donna (Mark) Vintson of Windham, John Smith of Ravenna, Ron Smith of Windham,  her mother Ella Kimble of Ravenna, her grandchildren Shayla Purnell, Charles (Swedell) Simmons, her great grandchildren Charles Avery, Carson Riley, her sister Rachel (Joe) Lowe of Ravenna and nieces Karen Murphy of Ravenna and Debbie (Scott) Anderson of Ravenna.  Calling hours will be Saturday June 23, 2018 from 2:00 PM until a time of sharing at 4:00 PM  at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna chapel.  Condolences and memories of Carolyn may be shared with her family at www.sscfuneralhomes.
