Dennis F. Chlad, 69, of Streetsboro passed away Tuesday July 4, 2017 at UH Hospital in Twinsburg, Ohio.  He was born October 7, 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Frank and Catherine (Philpott) Chlad.  Mr. Chlad has lived in Streetsboro the past 45 years and had retired from Arsla Metal Steel in Cleveland.  He was a veteran of the US Marines  serving his country in the Vietnam War.  Survivors include his wife Martha (Lindsey) Chlad with  whom he just celebrated their 5oth Anniversary on June 21, his children Dennis Chlad II, Frank (Alicia Aultz) Chlad and his brother William (Bernie) Chlad.  Calling hours will be  at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes 9781 Page Rd. Streetsboro, Ohio on Friday July 7, 2017 from 4:00 PM until time of Military Honors at 7:00 PM with the US Marines and Streetsboro American Legion.  At his requests, cremation will follow the services.  Condolences and memories of Dennis may be shared with his family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
