Dennis Paul Danes 67 of Ravenna died Thursday, August 31, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 11, 1950 in Ravenna to Dominic and Eleanor (Zinkand) Danes. A lifelong Ravenna resident, he was a machinist for Gougler Industries and attended Immaculate Conception Church. Survivors include his wife of over 46 years Barbara (Vozar), children Carolyn (Russ) Danes and Kimberly (Jeremiah) Johnson Danes, grandchildren Daylon, Ashton and Reid and his sister Julie Ann (Harold) Brooks. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother John Danes. Memorial calling hours will be from 5 PM until time of memorial service at 6 PM Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Pastor Jody Hill will officiate.
