Francisco Bosko, born in Havana, Cuba on April 2, 1931, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2018. Preceded in death by his parents Stefan and Franziska, mother- and father in-law Mary and Harry Schrader, sister Lillian Siegfried, and brothers-in-law Joseph Salamon, Guy Giorgio, Paul Schrader, Don Schrader and Herman “Red” Schrader. He is survived by his wife of nearly 58 years, Rose, daughter Teresa, son Mark and daughter-in-law Tawnya, sisters Olga Salamon and Elena Giorgio, brother-in-law Robert (Barbara) Schrader, nieces Rebecca Farhat and Vanessa Decker and nephews Michael and Steven Farhat and Mike and Eric Decker. Moving to Ravenna in 1948, and known to friends as Frank, Pancho and Chico, Francisco was a member of and served the Ravenna Knights of Columbus for more than 40 years, at which he attained the level of 4th Degree. An accomplished artist, Francisco also loved baseball and had a passion for numbers. He was proud of his long career as a private accountant, a job which led to lifelong friendships with many small business owners in Ravenna. His family would like to thank the staff of Western Reserve Hospital, who provided compassionate and attentive care for Francisco. Friends are welcome at a memorial Mass, which will be held at Immaculate Conception Church on Friday, June 22 at 10:00am.
