Gary Michael Boland

Gary Michael Boland 57 of Kent passed away Thursday, February 28, 2019. He graduated from Kent Roosevelt High School and was active in all sports, but he excelled in baseball, playing on travel teams and leagues. Gary was a forklift operator for Land O' Lakes in Kent for 36 years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his corny jokes. Survivors include his sons Zachary B. Boland and Tyler M. Boland, brother Don (Freida) Boland, sister Debbie (Ray) Dunn and loving niece and nephews. Memorial calling hours will be held from  11 AM until time of memorial service at 1 PM on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Reverend William Snyder will officiate. The family will greet relatives and friends in Gary's favorite attire, Ohio State apparel, and ask that you wear your's also. In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to Akron Childrens Hospital, 1 Perkins Square, Akron, Ohio 44308.
