Helen P. (Patrick) Tortorella

Helen P. Tortorella, 91,  passed away  Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, Ohio.  Helen was born in Hubbard, Ohio on  March 11, 1928 to the late Thomas and Laura (Senerchia) Patrick.  She spent most of her life in Ravenna where she worked for First National and Bank One as well as the Ravenna City Income Tax Director from which  she retired. Helen was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. She was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians and Cavaliers. Helen is survived by her children Lori A. (Terry) Slattery of Kent, Thomas (Debbie) Tortorella of Rootstown, and daughter-in-law Vicki Tortorella of Minnesota, grandchildren Dominic, Jr., Gina, Mario,  Michael, Emily, and Renee, and great grandchildren Sophia, Dominic III, and Roman. She was preceeded in death by her husband Jack, and son Dominic.  Calling hours will be held Monday, April  22, 2019 from 5:00-8:00PM at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at 10:00AM at Immaculate Conception Church with Father William Kraynak officiating. Burial to follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
