Jerri J (Thompson) Summers

Jerri J. (Thompson) Summers, 66, of Rootstown passed away Monday, February 18, 2019. Jerri was born in Ravenna on October 13, 1952 to the late James and Norma (Britton) Thompson and was a lifelong resident of the area. She retired from Robinson Memorial Hospital where she worked as an Environmental Services Aid. She belonged to the Ravenna Church of Christ. Jerri is survived by her husband Dennis Summers, son Justin Summers, sister Linda Pettigrew, brother Jim Thompson, and aunt Ruth Fitzgerald, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is also survived by her beloved dog, Baby, whom she loved so much. She was preceded in death by her sister Kathy Thompson and brother Kevin Thompson. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 4:00pm at the Ravenna Church of Christ.
