Maria (Katsaras) Count

Maria (Katsaras) Count, age  75 of Aurora, passed away on February 19, 2018 in the comfort of her own home. Maria was born on October 2, 1942 in Koas, Greece to the Late John and Irene Katsaras. Maria came from a family of 7 children who grew up in Rodos, Greece. She later married and immigarted to  America. Maria was a strong person, who was very bull-headed, she would do anything for her family, and she took pride in everything she did. She brought out the best in those closest to her, she was a devoted wife , mother, and grandmother.  Maria is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Earl Count, and by their children; Helen Irene (John Wayt) Count-Wayt, John Earl Count, Julie (Frank) McNamara. Her memory is also cherished by her grandsons Dallas and Logan McNamara, and by many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Friday February 23, 2018 from 10-11AM at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes' Streetsboro Chapel 9781 Page Rd. Streetsboro, OH 44241. The funeral service will immediately following calling hours, at 11AM at the funeral home. Fr. Jim Doukas will officiate. Burial will take place at Resthaven Cemetery in Avon, OH.
