Michael Anthony LaRocque

Heaven received another Angel on Thursday October 18, 2018 when Michael Anthony LaRocque, 56 passed away at Longmeadow Care Center in Ravenna.  He was born March 13, 1962 in Ravenna, Ohio to the late Clare G. LaRocque and Vivian I. (Royer).  Michael has been a lifelong Portage County Resident and had worked at Portage Industries.  He loved John Wayne movies, the Three Stooges, bowling at twin star bowling alley and wished we could celebrate Christmas all year long.  Uncle Michael loved playing jokes on people and spending time with his family.    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Carolyn (Paul) Wilhelm and brother Allen Haven. Michael is survived and missed by his nieces and nephews, David (Vicki) Hoskin, Bethany (Dave) Thomas, Douglas Hoskin, Matthew (Carol) Haven, Regina (Benjamin) Holliday, Jr., nine great nieces and nephews and eight great great nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be from 10:00 AM until time of funeral services at 11:00 AM on Thursday October 25, 2018 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel.  Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio.  Condolences and memories of Michael may be shared with his family atwww.sscfuneralhomes.com.
