Otto R. Rattai

 Otto R. Rattai 91 of Kent died Wednesday, September 12, 2018. He was born June 28, 1927 in St. Owens, Manitoba, Canada to Gustav and Elsie (Lentz) Rattai. Otto was a 55 year member of the Ravenna Assembly of God, where he was a board member, sunday school teacher, usher and sang in the choir. He worked for 38 years as a security guard for Chrysler Corporation and a school bus driver for 11 years at  Field Local Schools. Otto enjoyed fishing, basketball, singing, reading, cooking, gardening and giving free advice. Survivors include his wife of 69 years Terri (Arnesen), daughter Carolyn Dromi, son Gerald W. (Kathi) Rattai, grandchildren Joy (Chris) Cooper, Jill (Ryan) Shepard, Matthew (Mallory) Rattai, Elizabeth Dromi, Elon (Stefanie) Dromi and Jordan Dromi and great grandchildren Leah Shepard, Micah Shepard, Elliana Dromi, Meredith Cooper, Sofia Dromi, Rachel Cooper,Lucy Rattai and Ari Dromi. He is also survived by his brother Edwin Rattai. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Velma Brown, Ernest Rattai,Rueben Rattai and Raymond Rattai. Calling hours will be from 10 AM until time of services  at 11 AM Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at the Ravenna Assembly of God Church, 6401 State Route 14 in Ravenna with Pastor Gary Beck officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park in Ravenna. In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to the Ravenna Assembly of God Missions Programs. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.
