Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of Rick. We went all through school in Brookfield beginning with Yellow Brick and ending in graduation. I even remember a time when Rick asked me to go to a Cub Scout meeting as his guest. A long, long time ago. I was so pleased to know his life was so fruitful and spent in service to others. Truly he has been promoted to glory.

Robyn and family,
My deepest and most sincere condolences. RAT encouraged me to pursue my dreams of law enforcement and I enjoyed 7 years of working with him. Imagine my surprise to find that his mother's maiden name was Alderman when my mother's maiden name was Alderman! Turns out, Rick and I are 7th cousins! I will send you the genealogical information. Robyn, both you and Rick are listed in Aldermans in America, a genealogical history compiled by my sister and another one of our relatives!!

I remember when I first began working with RAT - I couldn't believe they called my sgt. after a rodent! But with Rich's initials on so many forms, RAT was the handle he was called by for years. Rich brought laughter to the workplace, but he was definitely good at his job He made my years at SPD a great time of learning and laughter.. I'm glad he was able to come to Dave's birthday party, and it was great to hear his voice on Christmas morning. He will be missed by so many! I hope the outpouring of love from friends and family help give you strength through this difficult time. Thoughts and prayers are with you. - Karen and Dave Morar
