There is a garden where Jesus is waiting and he bid Richardson Huling to come to him on August 17, 2017. Richardson was borm March 15, 1928 to Sara Willie (Fortson) and Dave Huling. After the death of his mother when he was only two yeaars old, he went to stay with his maternal grandparents, Emma Lue and Lewis Fortson, whom he affectionately called "Mama" and "Daddy. Richardson attended school in Georgia. He retired from Mark and Sons as a meat cutter. He relocated to Winston Salem, NC, where he met and married his first wife Selena Van'Eaton. Shortly afterwards they moved to Ravenna Ohio. It was in Ravenna where their first four children were born, In 1957 they returned to Winston Salem, where their youngest daughter was born. After Selena's death in 1987, he married his second wife Evelyn. Later they and her two children moved to Cleveland Ohio. Evelyn died on October 22, 2008. After her death he relocated to Ravenna where he remained until his death. Left to carry on the legacy started by his grandparents are his eight children, Virginia, Mary Ann, Dorothy, Richard, Frances and Rose all of Winston Salem and TinaCynthia Pitts of Kansas, MO and Leroy Walker, 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, aunt Norvia L. Baines of Akron and uncles Luther (Marie) Fortson and Carl (Patricia) Fortson of Ravenna. Calling hours will  be from 11:00 AM until time of funeral services at 12:00 PM Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at the Winfield Church of God in Christ, 6595 Winfield Street, Ravenna, Ohio with Pastor Dennis J. Richey, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Ravenna. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.
