Ronald J Dombrowski

Ronald J. Dombrowski, 79 of Aurora, passed away Sunday October 6, 2019 at the Avenue at Aurora with his family by his side.  Survivors include his wife Mary Ann (Strinka) Dombrowski, daughter Dr. Nicole Dombrowski (husband Michael  Miler), and brothers Kenneth and Gregory Dombrowski.  Ron was born March 22, 1940 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Joseph and Florence (Scypta) Dombrowski and has lived in Aurora since 1970. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Cleveland State University in 1967 and his MBA from Case Western Reserve University in 1972. He worked as an industrial sales representative for pressure sensitive adhesives.   Ron was a loving husband and devoted father.  He had a passion for dancing and took Arthur Murray dance lessons with his wife in the 1970’s.  His love of dance and disco music was passed on to his daughter in her early years.   He also enjoyed tennis, jogging, biking, and cross country skiing. He was very active in the Aurora City Schools doing volunteer and fundraising work and attended every band performance and tennis match.   His love of travel took him on several European vacations as well as annual family trips to Cancun, Mexico.  He was an avid Ohio State football fan and looked forward to deer hunting in Michigan with his friends every year.  Ron had a sweet tooth and loved Malley’s Chocolates.  He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish in Aurora, Ohio.  At his request cremation has taken place.  Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 342 S. Chillicothe Road,  Aurora, Ohio 44202.  Entombment will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Northfield, Ohio.
