The world has lost a gentle soul. Miss Ruth as the school children, including my granddaughter, would always have a kind word for all who passed her on their way home from Tappan. We would always have to stop and chat with her when my granddaughter was in kindergarten and first grade and then they closed the school. I think she lost a little sparkle when that happen because she would have adopted each one as a grandchild. She will be missed by all who knew this great lady.
