A beautiful smile to hide the pain is a very apt way to describe the life of Mr Sam A gentleman in the purest sense of the word To have buried two wives two children both parents and several siblings he never showed his pain only that smile that was his signature Not only is he my hero but our entire town a life well worth imitating He is done with the troubles of this world and his smile no longer hides the pain That smile lit up glory when he woke up there A well lived life by a loving man who left an eternal mark on this side of glory and who now enjoys that sweet peace and does the Lord's will on the other side.

To my family this is heart breaking, however we all know Uncle Sam was a very humble, kind spirited man that loved the Lord and his family. He also looked so much like my mom ......his baby sister they should have been twins. I enjoyed him last at, I believe was at his grand-daughters wedding in TN and a cook out few years ago.
