Thomas E. Milton, Jr. of Ravenna, Ohio, passed away peacefully with his devoted and loving wife Jocelyn at his bedside while at Cleveland Clinic on Sunday, October 27, 2019, after an extended illness. Born in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio to Tom and Karen (Keenan) Milton, Tom was a life-long resident of Ravenna and was the eldest of four siblings. Tom was a hard worker and was proud to follow in his father’s footsteps in the skilled trades as a millwright for Chrysler Corporation at the Twinsburg, OH Chrysler Stamping plant and at the Kokomo, IN Chrysler Transmission plant. Tom loved anything having to do with nature and the outdoors, hunting, fishing, biking, camping, American history, playing guitar, cooking and caring for his pets. Tom especially enjoyed metal detecting and sharing stories of his finds with family and friends. Tom had a big heart, was everybody’s friend, always had a good story to tell, was a mischievous practical joker, loved his wife and family more than anything and will be sorely missed. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Karen Milton, his best friend, Troy Ward, and his beloved pets, Jacob and Riley. Tom is survived by his spouse, Jocelyn (Dennis) Milton, his 3 “beautiful” sisters of whom, as he frequently reminded them, he was the “eldest sibling”: Lori Cook (Rick), Christina Milton, and Heather Brady (Rob). He also leaves behind his stepdaughter, Jordan Dennis, many nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Family and friends may call on Tom Friday, November 1, 2019 from 6:00-8:00pm at the Shorts, Spicer, Crislip Funeral Home in Ravenna, OH. Services will be held on Saturday, November 2 at 11:00am at the same location. Burial to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Ravenna.
