V. Gordon Ingold, 84, of Ravenna peacefully left this life to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 22, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.  He was born July 3, 1933 in Parkersburg, WV to the late William and Margaret (Graham) Ingold. He was a dedicated Christian serving the Lord as a Deacon and Elder of the Ravenna Church of Christ for many years. Gordon was a U.S. Air Force veteran who served during the Korean war. He retired after working as an Engineer in the steel industry. He was a loving husband, dad, and granddaddy. Survivors include: his loving wife of nearly 61 years Dorothy (Boswell), children Cindy (Steve) Stoneburner, Lisa Dean (Rick), Gordon (Elizabeth) Ingold and Brian (Michele) Ingold, 9 grandchildren, Jeremiah, Joshua, Justin, Nick, Jack, Catherine, Alex, Heather and Jonah, 5 great grandchildren, Emily, Davin, Brayden, Cayden, Miley and so many others that who knew him as Granddaddy.  He is also survived by sisters Eileen (Lorne) Roberts and Jacqui Snyder.  He was predeceased by his brother Herman. Calling hours will be from 10 AM until time of funeral services at 12 PM Saturday, October 28, 2017 at The Ravenna Church of Christ, 3897 Summit Road, Ravenna, Ohio. Ministers Bill Hopkins and Terry Smith will officiate.
