David A. Campo 66 of Ravenna passed away Sunday January 10, 2016 at University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio. He was born October 22, 1949 in Galion, Ohio to the late Lupe and Jeanette (Patton) Campo, Sr. Dave has lived in Ravenna the past 18 years and had retired from Castle Metals in Bedford, where he worked as a foreman. Dave has been an active member with the Ravenna Moose 1234, where he has held all the chairs, he received his Pilgrim Degree in 2013 and held many state offices for the Moose organization. He was a veteran of the US marines serving his country in the Vietnam War. Survivors include his wife Miriam (Scribner) Campo whom he married June 27, 2000, his daughters Wendy (Bill) Stewart of Ravenna, Tina (Russ) Hagen of Streetsboro, his step children Carla (Rick) Castle, Harold "Rocky" (Wanda) Gantz, Charles (Tammy) Gantz, his grandchildren Vickie, Sammie, Logan and Gavin, six step grandchildren, many great grandchildren and siblings Lupe Campo, Jr. and Kathy Corbin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step son Herald Gantz and grandson Jeremy Gantz. Calling hours will be Thursday January 14, 2016 from 4 PM until Pilgrim Moose services at 6:00 PM followed by his funeral services with Rev. Bill Snyder officiating. Private family burial will take place. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be the Building Fund for the Ravenna Moose 1234 or Mooseheart Charities.
