Frank E Hanna

Frank E. Hanna 89 of Charlestown Township passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025 at Altercare Post Acute Rehabilitation Center in Brimfield. He was born August 28, 1935 in Palestine, WV to Ernest and Eunice (Merrill) Hanna. Frank was a member of the Charlestown United Methodist Church, a foreman for Chrysler Corporation and was a volunteer fireman for the Charlestown Fire Department for many years. Survivors include his children Susan Dearth and Donald Hanna, grandchildren Michael Podojil, Ryan Podojil and Jade Ford, great grandchildren Anthony Podojil, Frank Podojil, Marley Cummons and Michael Podojil, sisters Ruth King and Betty Naugle, sister in law Cathy Hanna, brother in law Jim Naugle and very special friend Karen Knoll. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 62 years Carol and a brother William Hanna. Calling hours will be from 3 to 5 PM Sunday, March 9, 2025 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11 AM Monday, March 10, 2025 at the funeral home with Reverend Jim Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Charlestown Cemetery.
