George A. Fear

George A. Fear 78 of Mantua, passed away Sunday September 21, 2014 at the Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna , Ohio.  He was born August 11, 1936 in Shalersville, Ohio to the late Edna  (Bockelman) and Charles Fear.  Mr. Fear has lived in Portage County most of his life and retired from General Motors in Parma after 31 years of service.  At one time  he had also worked for Terex in Hudson.  He will be deeply missed  by his wife of 58 years Evelyn (Parks) Fear, his children Vivian (Mark) Linamen of Garrettsville, Valerie Wilson of Las Vegas, Jeff Fear of Nelson and Vanessa Shadrick of Freedom.  Survivors also include his grandchildren Jeremy (Chris), Brandi, Krystal, Kayla, Cori, his great granddaughter Emily and his sisters Ruth Williams of Seattle, WA and Norma Degon of Olympia, Washington.  Calling hours will be 2:00 PM until time of funeral services at 4:00 PM on Wednesday September 24, 2014 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Streetsboro Chapel.
