A Carroll Prater

"TOGETHER AGAIN"  A. Carroll Prater, 80, of Paris, passed away Wednesday March 11, 2026 at her daughters home surrounded by her family. She was born July 12, 1945 in Wise, Virginia to the late Curtis and Myrtle (Robinson) Sorah. Carroll has lived in Paris Twp since 1976 and had worked for several area restaurants, such as Twin Star and East Park. In her spare time she enjoyed bowling, watching cowboy shows but especially loved spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Buster "Buck" Prater on July 6, 2017 and sisters Judith Ann Sorah and Helen Mullins. Survivors include her daughters Wanda (Tommy) Gehret, Rhoda (Mark) Kale, her grandchildren Nichole Prater, Cody (Laura) Kale, Logan Kale, her great grandson Carter, her siblings Edith Boles, Karla Worley, Joe Sluss and many nieces and nephews.
