Agnes P. (Bednar) Dobrilovic

Agnes P. Dobrilovic, 90 years young, a resident of Ravenna, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017, at The Woodlands at Robinson under the care of Kindred Hospice. She was born April 21, 1927, in PA, to Joseph and Margaret (Murcko) Bednar. Agnes was a lifelong member of Immaculate Conception Church and worked in the home healthcare field. She was a gifted artist whose talent was expressed through her many oil paintings, handcrafted quilts, crochet afghans, and restored antiques. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Stefan to whom she was married for 50 years, and siblings Mary Maydak, Helen Rickard, John Bender, Joseph Bednar, Margaret Bosko, Rose Nagy, George Bednar, and William Bednar. She was a beloved and devoted mother and grandmother to her children Martin (Gayle) Dobrilovic of Lake Worth, FL, Ruth (George) Palmer of Charlotte, NC, and Daniel (Debbie) Dobrilovic of Ravenna, OH; grandchildren Joshua, Rachel, Dustin, Lindsey, Breanna and Zachary; and great grandchild Liam. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law Betty (Paul) Dobrilovic and Edith (William) Bednar. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends and all whose lives she has touched with her strong passion for life and compassion for people. Calling hours will be from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM Sunday, August 20, 2017 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 AM Monday, August 21, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Church in Ravenna. Father William Kraynak will officiate.
