Albert "Al" P. Sarrocco 75 of Ravenna died Tuedsay, October 20, 2015. He was born October 21, 1939 in Ravenna, Ohio to the late Paul Albert and Matilda Rose (Casley) Sarrocco. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Ravenna, the NRA, Ravenna Moose #1234, American Bowlers Association, Past Officer for Portage County Bowling Association and member of American Postal Workers Union. Al retired from the Ravenna Post Office as assistant Post Master and worked as a guard at the KSU Fashion Museum. He was a US Air Force veteran serving during Vietnam War. Survivors include his wife of 31 years Sally (Gepper), daughter Stephanie (Joe) Sarrocco of Virginia Beach, VA, sons Jonathan (Cathy) Sarrocco of Strongsville, Chad (Rayna) Bevilacqua and Kevin (Karen) Bevilacqua both of Ravenna and Matthew (Carrie) Sarrocco of Kent, grandchildren Tod Bevilacqua, Zoe Bevilacqua, Kaylee Bevilacqua, Nicholas Sarrocco and Joshua Krause, sister Patricia (Michael) DiMasso of Ravenna and a brother Laurence (JoMarie) Sarrocco of Macedonia. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM Friday, October 23, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Church in Ravenna with friends received one hour prior to the service at the church. Monsignor Michael Cariglio will officiate. Burial will be in Park Cemetery in Garrettsville following the funeral luncheon. In lieu of fowers the family request memorials to St. Jude Childrens Hospital, Wade Park VA Hospital or Harbor Light Hospice.
