Alberta (Shaver) Moore

Alberta (Shaver) Moore went home to be with her Lord on Monday, February 13, 2012. She was born in Cuyahoga Falls on July 12, 1927, the daughter of Albert and Lillie (Anthony) Shaver. She attended Stow Schools graduating in 1945.  She and her late husband Arthur were former owners and operators of a live bait shop on Berlin Lake.  Alberta was the Cleveland Indians number one fan. Survivors include her daughters Sue Moore, Terri (Merrill) Dean, Marcia (JR) Blair, sons Arthur R. Moore III, Benjamin (Susan) Moore, Matthew (Louise) Moore, 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and sister Norma Ferrara. Besides her parents she was preceded by her loving husband Arthur Moore whom died in 1989, grandson, Shane Moore, 1 sister and 6 brothers.  Friends may call at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral  Homes Ravenna Chapel from 6 - 8 PM Thursday, February 16, 2012. Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, February 17, 2012 at the funeral home with Pastor Doug Olsen officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park in Ravenna following the service.  Memorials may be sent to the Akron General Hospice VNS, 3358 Ridgewood Road Akron, OH 44333.
