Alberta Fay (Taylor) Javosky

Alberta Fay Javosky 69 of Ravenna, passed away Wednesday February 8, 2012 at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna, Ohio.  She was born December 12, 1942 in Arthurdale, WVA to the late Albert and Marguerite (Carrico) Taylor.  Alberta has lived in Ravenna most of her life and retired from Colonial Rubber in Ravenna where she worked as an inspector.  One of the things "Grandma Bertie"  enjoyed most of, as her kids put it was shopping at Walmart for her grandchildren.  She is survived by her husband of 27 years Wilbert "Sonny" Javosky, her children, Polly (Joe) Minarchik of Newton Falls, Cherie (Jim) Rubish of Kent, David (Laura) Nethken of Ravenna, Jim (Kelly) Nethken of Brimfield, Carri Sue Javosky and Rob Javosky both of WVA, her grandchildren Dawn, Shannon, Bradley, Kyle, Maci, Kendahl, Dylan, Kelsey, Natalie, James, her great grandchildren Joey and Sydney.  She is also survived by her sister Nicki Valentine of Ravenna.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Luther Taylor and sister Anita McClane.  Calling hours will be 6-8 PM Tuesday February 14, 2012 at Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel where funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday February 15, 2012 with Rev. Bill Snyder Officiating.  Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio.
