Alice (Towne) Stewart-Logan

Alice Stewart-Logan, 76, of Ravenna, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Longmeadow Care Center. She was born on January 5, 1937 in Sodus Bay, New York a daughter of the late, Fred Robert and Hazel Doris (Fletcher) Towne. Alice was a member of Grace Episcopal Church. She is survived by her daughters, Gail (Chris) Richards of Akron, Carol (Eric) Marotta of Ravenna, and Doris Stewart-Whipple of Akron; son, Fred Robert Stewart; loved one, Dorrie Strobel; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Logan, father of her children, Guy Stewart,; son, Kenneth Stewart; and sister, Ruth Whitacre. Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 9, 2013 from 11AM-12:30PM at the Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home, Ravenna Chapel. A funeral service will also be held on Friday at 1PM at Grace Episcopal Church, 250 W. Cedar Ave., Ravenna, OH 44266 with Rev. Carol Evans officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
