Alice M (Toth) Grubb

Alice M. Grubb "Toodie" 80 of Ravenna passed Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at her home. She was born August 28, 1932 in Shalersville to the late Frank and Alice (Jahn) Toth.  Alice graduated from Shalersville High School in 1950. She was a school aid for Lake County Schools in Florida. She enjoyed flower gardening, puzzle books, putting together photo albums, was a Portage County Women's champion in bowling, but she really enjoyed just beating her husband in bowling. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, William "Bill" Grubb Sr whom she married April 30, 1951, her children, William (Short-Kim) Grubb of Garrettsville, Ruth (Jay) Osborne of Ravenna, Margie Nations of Ravenna, Gwen (Steve) Previts of Ravenna, Lois Brown of Ravenna, siblings, Richard (Darlene) Toth of Phoenix, AZ, Barbara Scarlett of Ravenna, Margaret (Richard) Porter of Aurora, 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, her dog Sadie.  Besides her parents she was preceded by her brothers Frank, Joseph, Thomas Toth, sister, Mary Mills, granddaughter Nicole Osborne, and great granddaughter, Lily Bowser.  Calling hours will be held from 12 - 2 PM Saturday, March 30, 2013 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro chapel.  The Service will follow the calling hours at 2 PM with  Rev. Dave McClelland officiating.  Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery Shalersville after the service.
