Alice L. (Vance) Burns

Alice L. Burns 83 of Newton Falls, Ohio passed away Sunday July 6, 2014 at Longmeadow Care Center in Ravenna, Ohio.  She was born July 16, 1930 in Catawba, WVA to the late John and Pearl (Jones) Vance.  She has lived in Newton Falls, Ohio since 2002 and formerly lived in Shalersville since 1962.  She was a member of the Ravenna Seventh Day Adventist Church.  Survivors include her children Wayne (Deborah) Burns of Newton Falls and Tina Jira of Twinsburg, Ohio, seven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ivan "Red" Burns on July 29, 2002, her son Dail and three brothers and four sisters.  Calling hours will be from 12 noon on Thursday July 10, 2014 until time of services at 2 PM.  Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park Ravenna, Ohio.
