Allyn P. Nichols 73 died Friday, October 14, 2016. He was born February 3, 1943 in Ravenna to Oscar and Nellie (Robishaw) Nichols. Allyn served his country in the US Marine Corps and worked as a truck driver. Survivors include his sister Shari Anthony of CA, brothers Gerald of Randolph, Francis of Canal Fulton, Gail of Nelson Twp., Oscar and Timothy both of Garrettsville and Danny of TX and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Louise McCabe and Susan Nichols. Graveside services and military honors will take place at 10:30 AM on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, October 21, 2016 at the New Baltimore Community Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.
