Andrew S. Franko

Andrew S. Franko, 80 of Rootstown passed away Friday April 14, 2023 at his son's home in Rootstown.  He was born February 21, 1943 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Joseph and Irene (Bresnai) Franko.  Mr. Franko retired from Swagelok in Solon where he worked in the maintenance department, was a member of St. Joseph Church in Randolph, the Ravenna Moose #1234, Lake Milton American Legion #737, Enlisted  Association Chapter 111 and was a proud veteran of The US Army.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ellen Franko on October 1, 2015 and his son Michael Stephen Franko,  Survivors include his son's Andrew Stephen, Jr., , Kevin Michael , Stephen Mark, Mark Stephen, Keith Andrew, 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.  In honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place.  Condolences and memories of Andrew may be shared with his family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
