Angela L (Lacivita) Polando

Angela L. Polando 82 of Ravenna passed away Monday October 11, 2010 at Regency Hospital Ravenna, Ohio. She was born September 19, 1928 in Ravenna to the late Kelly and Mary (Delano) LaCivita.  Angela was a lifelong resident of Ravenna where she was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, worked as a cook for Edie's restaurant, a machinist at the Oak Rubber Co. and part-time for the Record Courier.  She loved cooking and was famous for her Pizzas, breads, and pies. She also enjoyed gardening, shopping and spending time with her family.  Loving Mother of Donald (Karen) Polando of Farmdale, and a daughter. She is also survived by, several nieces and nephews, sister in laws, Ruth and Tran LaCivita both of Ravenna, and Andy the cat.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Peter Polando whom died 1976, sister, Mary Francis LaCivita, and brothers, Mike and John LaCivita.  Funeral Service will be held will be held at 12:00 PM Monday, October 18, 2010 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel with Father James Lang officiating. Calling hours will be held 10 - 12 PM Monday prior to the service.  Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery in Ravenna.
