Anna M. (Frayer) Cox

Anna M. Cox, 79 of Ravenna, passed away Saturday June 8, 2019 at the Woodlands Health and Rehab in Ravenna.  Being a lifelong Ravenna Resident,  Anna was born May 6, 1940 in Ravenna to the late Leo and Elizabeth (Stamper) Frayer.  She retired in 2011 from Portage County Social Services where she was a legal secretary.  She was a member of the Ravenna Assembly of God Church  where  was a faithful volunteer.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George Cox  in 1984 and two sons Ronald K and James A. Cox.  Survivors include her children George D. Cox of Ravenna, Anne E. Cox of Ravenna, Robert L. (Halyna) Cox of Brecksville,  her siblings Leo Frayer , Butch Frayer, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  At her request, cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of life service will be 10:00 AM Saturday June 15, 2019 at the Ravenna Assembly of God Church.  Condolences and memories of Anna may be shared with her family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
