Anna Gasper, 86 of Ravenna passed away Sunday, December 12, 2010 at the Emeritus of Ravenna. She was born January 28, 1924 in Ravenna to the late George and Barbara (Kuhar) Gasper. Anna was a graduate of Bohecker College and retired from Penton Publishing Co, in Cleveland after 23 years. She enjoyed cooking, baking, doing crossword puzzles, and was known as the family practical Joker. Survivors include her sisters, Cecelia Gasper, Margaret Gasper both of Ravenna, brother, Paul (JoAnn) Gasper of Ravenna, Many beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Mary, infant Agnes, Christine (Henry) Trivelli, brothers, Edward (Mary Ann) Gasper, and George Gasper Jr. A Rosary Service will be held at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel at 10:15 AM Thursday, December 16, 2010 with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at Immaculate Conception Church at 11:00 AM with Father John Michael Lavelle officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery at later date
