Anne C. Chebra 94 of Streetsboro died Sunday, January 24, 2016. She was born in Vermilion, Ohio to Andrew and Katherine (Chervenak). Anne was a member of St. Joan of Arc Church in Streetsboro. Survivors include her daughter Janet Huter of Mantua, sons Michael (Janice) Chebra, Jr. of Kent and Mark Chebra of Bedford, grandchildren Nicole (David Opfer) of Dayton, Andrea (Randall Brunswick) of Hudson, James Huter (Brian) of Katy, Texas, Kimberly Huter of Brunswick and great-grandchildren Arthur, Annika and Brandon. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Michael A. Chebra on 12/05/14 and her sister Irene Yencho. Anne’s favorite times focused on her family especially with her husband Mike of 67 years. Whether it was fishing off their pontoon boat or doing crossword puzzles, Anne treasured the times they spent together. Any family occasion with Mike, her three loving children, wonderful grandchildren, and cherished great-grandchildren were the highlight of Anne’s days. She had a knack for making everyday family gatherings a wonderful celebration. Anne was a lifetime and enthusiastic Cleveland Indians baseball fan. Her coaching tips to the players came from her place either in the stadium seats or from her favorite armchair. Anne was also an avid reader and easily read hundreds of books throughout her lifetime. She will be greatly missed by many but will remain forever in our hearts. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at St. Joan of Arc Church, 8894 State Route 14, Streetsboro, Ohio 44241 with Father Pat Ferraro officiating.
