Anthony L. "Prince" Latimer

Anthony L. "Prince" Latimer 61 of Ravenna passed away Friday December 23, 2011 at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna. He was born September 12, 2011 in Ravenna, Ohio to the late Leroy and Mary (Pinkney) Latimer. Mr. Latimer has been a lifelong Ravenna resident, was a member of the New Mount Calvary Baptist Church and had retired from Ravenna Aluminum after 20 years of services. As a young man he was in the job corp and he also enjoyed singing. Survivors include his wife of 21 years Sharon (Howard) Latimer, sons Mark (Amber) Latimer of Akron, Kevin (Julia) Howard , Jerrel Howard , daughters Antionetta Latimer and Felicia Howard all of Ravenna, 23 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Richard Latimer of Ravenna, sister Patricia (Victor) Taylor of Ravenna, adopted sister Annetta Gibson of Naples, Florida, the Howard family, Abdul (Mass) Alphonso of Columbus, Kenneth of Ravenna, Darnell (Michelle) of Kent, Jimmie (Angelia) of Akron, the Kirtland and Ferrell families and a host of friends and relatives too numerous to list. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Harilyn Latimer.  Calling hours will be 5-8 PM Wednesday December 28, 2011 at Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday December 29, 2011 at the New Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Ravenna. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park Ravenna, Ohio.
