Arlene F. Szekely 82 of Streetsboro died Monday, April 11, 2016. She was born March 4, 1934 in Floyd County, VA to Maynard J. and Artie F. (Hart) Weeks. Arlene was a member of the Church of the Open Bible in Bedford and belonged to many local walking clubs. Survivors include her daughters Juanita Beck of Streetsboro, Vickie (Tom) Cristall of Shalersville, Kim (John) Humphrey of Bedford and Sandi Pleasant of Aloha, OR, son Tony Szekely of Streetsboro, 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Alex F. in 2013 and a brother William Weeks. Calling hours will be from 3 PM until time of services at 7 PM Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. Pastor Andrew Weaver will officiate. Cremation will follow the service, with private burial in Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg at a later date.
